Zuzana has always been passionate about two things: protecting the environment and sharing its beauty through art. Her work often reflects this love, with a focus on wildlife and landscapes.
After studying art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Zuzana honed her skills across a wide range of mediums, both 2D and 3D. She believes that art can be created from anything, and by rearranging objects, new perspectives are revealed, sparking human imagination.
Her versatile approach to art, using an array of tools and materials, allows for greater freedom in expressing her creative vision. For Zuzana, if you can imagine something, you can bring it to life—there are no limits when you have the right tools!
Zuzana’s work has been featured in numerous galleries and commissioned by collectors both locally and internationally. She has led workshops, art programs, and retreats, and has been selected as a commissioned resident artist, creating bespoke pieces for clients. She especially enjoys spending time in nature and creating alongside children, whom she believes are some of the best teachers.
As a proud working member of The Local, (Revelstoke’s new art co-operative), and recently opening her own gallery in Revelstoke, Zuzana is excited to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the local art scene.
