Kelly Hutcheson is the artist and creative force behind Mountain Made Studio.

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Kelly earned her BFA in New Media from Ryerson University before trading city life for the mountains. Drawn to the slower pace and stunning natural surroundings, she eventually settled in Revelstoke, BC, where her artistic practice found new inspiration.

Kelly has been working with stained glass for over a decade, developing a distinctive style that blends traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary, nature-inspired aesthetic. What began with small mountain and bear-shaped suncatchers—deeply rooted in the spirit of Revelstoke—has evolved into a diverse and ever-growing body of work.

Today, Kelly creates intricate stained glass art from her downtown Revelstoke studio, producing everything from large-scale installations to sculptural 3D pieces and functional home décor such as custom lighting. Her work brings warmth, colour, and texture to interior spaces while reflecting the wild beauty of the natural world.
